About Jules

I was born with a smile on my face. I guess that's how it all began.

I've been many things in my 31 years, a performer, an actress, a dancer, a teacher and a writer. In the Summer of 1997 I began working in a small gift shop in my home town of Berkeley Springs. It carried unique gifts and original paintings..... By the end of the Summer, word was out. The owner was ready to move on with her life and wanted to sell or shut down. That night at dinner my mother and I had the same crazy thought... and, on October 13, I bought Jules. That wasn't the name at the time. After much consideration, I put my name on the door. "Jules" not only shared part of myself with my customers, but also served a practical purpose; it described what I carried. I have chosen every item in my store carefully to make sure that each piece is truly a "jewel." I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
