In 2002 Harmony Kingdom released a line called Interchangeables by master artist Adam Binder. Interchangeables are a unique collection of figurines with parts you can mix and match.

Each back lifts off, then the heads are notched to easily slide out. (see disassembled turtle below) Then you can mix and match parts, assembling creatures nature never intended. Made of crushed marble and resin in England, the figurines look and feel like antique ivory.
