Welcome to the Faerie Idol Costume Contest! This past weekend was the Weekend of Enchantment in Berkeley Springs and the Faeries were out in full force! Thank you for joining us for the online voting, I hope you'll meet all the contestants and vote for your favorite by sending Jules an e-mail! We'll allow one vote per valid e-mail address per day, so come back often and vote for your favorite. The winner will be announced here on June 24th!
The votes have been counted, the tallies tallied, the ... well you get the point.

Cierra will be receiving a set of Love Faeries by Faerie Glen. She'll have to work out who keeps them with the Faerie Dog. Our other two winners will also be receiving goodies! : )

Rachel
Our first contestant is the lovely Rachel. Notice the beautiful green horns and multi tiered skirt. Rachel was flying off to perform in a show right after this picture was taken, so please excuse us if it's a little blurry. : )

Faerie Hannah
Hannah is the youngest faerie in our contest, celebrating her fifth birthday in just a few weeks. In this picture she's only acting shy, since I know from meeting her that she's anything but timid!

Bibi Glimmersylph
Bibi hails from out there over yonder, and was celebrating her 176th birthday with us. I'm assuming that's in faerie years, or she has a wonderful doctor, because she doesn't look a day over 175 to me!

Wingnut Faewing
Wingnut Faewing is only 152 and is the creator of many of the beautiful faerie wings you see on our faeries. Notice that even her shadow is ready to take flight!

Cheese!
This stylin ensemble combines horns, a black spiderweb cape and is brightened by pink pants and an enchanting smile! The cape does make me wonder which faerie super hero this may be ... stay tuned for further investigation ... : )

Laurie
Laurie shows she's a peace faerie, as she proudly holds up two fingers. I particularly like the horns, striped stockings and red and blue high tops. Oh, and of course the pink hair. : )

Mariposa
Mariposa was sporting some lovely pearly white iridescent wings on Saturday. Though compact, I think they would have no problem carrying her off and make it easy for her to maneuver.

Liliana
Liliana is pretty in all pink, with double layered pink wings. Wow, she looks a little like a lily. I wonder if she planned it that way? Regardless, she looked FAB!

Cierra & the Fairy Dog
I think Cierra has the longest wingspan of all the contestants! Unfortunately the picture isn't quite close enough to see her intricate hair braiding, but take my word for it, it was gorgeous. The Fairy Dog doesn't hurt either, does it? So cute!

Genisia
Genisia had the most beautiful light blue swirls painted on her face, but alas we wanted to get her entire costume so can't see that close of a detail. Her wings were beautiful filmy floaty works of art, but I think my favorite are the green and blue striped stockings. Beautiful!

Lavender Joy
I think Lavender Joy may have had the most complete head to toe fairyness of the day, all of my other contestants not withstanding! Her hobbies include flying and gathering flowers for her hair. Kubiando!
