Throughout 1998, HK issued four limited edition double roses, each with distinctive exterior colouration and interior scenes. As a grand finale to this exceptionally popular series, HK produced 'The Double Sterling Rose,' limited to an edition of 1500 pieces and initially offered to Queen Empress dealers only. Crafted in solid sterling silver by Robert Glover who does commissions for the British royal family, this piece has been sanctioned by the London Assay Office. The interior portrays Lord Byron and three of his bug friends, hand-in-hand around a bonfire, donning party hats. Lord Byron is enameled in red. Hallmarks include ©, star, HBC logo, M, and RG.
