Inspired by the mice of Gloucester, this imaginative fellow prepares to begin work on a great sartorial creation. The spool of thread is prominently labeled: 'Manufactured in the UK.' England is known also to this day as a producer of fine needles. The loop of thread forms an acorn, artist David Lawrence’s signature mark. On the interior, a camel ponders how to pass through the eye of the needle (a Biblical reference). The '103' on the rim next to the hallmarks shows that this is the 103rd piece David Lawrence has carved for Harmony Kingdom. Fixed edition of 2500 Version One and 2500 Version Two worldwide.
