This box figurine defies the expression 'three’s a crowd.' The unlikely trio rests peacefully, with the mouse nestled between the cat’s paws and a dog protecting his two friends. Inside Version 1 are Mad Murphy’s favourite possessions: a teddy bear, guitar, stereo, pin-up poster, Pungu magazine (children’s cartoon character), bicycle pump, after shave and hot water bottle. The anagram on Murphy’s pillow unscrambles to spell Subaru Forester, the new car that Peter had just purchased. Murphy himself is seen emerging from the piece. Tubs the turtle replaced Murphy in the Infinity Version, (No longer available, sorry!) and the interior portrays a mouse reading a 'Beware of the Log' sign. Thinking this is a mistake, he changes it to 'Beware of the Dog,' whereupon he is flattened by a log. Hallmarks include ©, moon, HBC logo, ed.#, and Pc.
