This large format, lidded Jardinia cachepot is the debut design of sculptor Michael Parks. Employing a profusion of scrollwork and foliage, Parks’ carving is Rococo in style yet clearly relays his love for felines. He and his wife Danya, a veterinarian, live with eight cats, three of which appear on “Four Seasons”.  The jar is divided into four vignettes depicting winter, spring, summer and fall. For cat lovers, or anyone who appreciates French decorative arts of the 18th century, this ornamental and functional container is a must-have.
