When I bought the shop in 1997, I had a huge range of music, mostly along the relaxing and meditational side, but I expanded to swing and vocals as well. With all the changes in the music industry I've decided to narrow my scope to just my two favorite artists.
You want to relax before bed, have soothing back ground music for a gathering, or get lost in the artistry of a master pianist? Emile Pandolfi just has no equal. Everything from Gershwin and Cole Porter to old lullabies are represented on his recordings. Just beautiful.
Looking for one of the most amazing voices of all time? Well then you must be thinking of Eva Cassidy. This haunting voice was only on loan to us for a short time, but thankfully she left an incredible legacy. I've had grown men standing in my store brought to tears at the miracle of her "Somewhere over the Rainbow" and if you want something to dance around the house to, "Chain of Fools" is ready to rock.
Either artist will fit perfectly, and while there are several artists I'll miss, I'm really happy to use my grandfather's saying in this. It's most definitely "quality over quantity".
