This piece shows one of the perils zebra face during their annual migration in Africa, especially when they cross the crocodile-infested Mara and Grumeti rivers.

My zebra has clearly seen 'Live and Let Die' where James Bond cheats death by running over the backs of the crocodiles.

There are two versions of this box, one has the zebra's tail in a croc's mouth and a Tiny Treasure zebra pendant inside. In the other, the zebra is free and this has a crocodile pendant inside.

Under the lid are the words 'Plains and Grevys', the two main types of zebra.

The arrow and W.P refer to the reviled Minnesota dentist Walter Palmer who shot and be-headed Cecil the Lion - the beloved and tagged resident of the Hwange National Park - for sport!

'MBJ' is for the Sons of Anarchy actor Mark Boon Jr whom I used as a reference for the latest Santa Claus tree decoration.
