When Lisa Yashon at Harmony Ball decided to sell their Harmony Kingdom archives, that was a quick yes from me! This piece comes directly from the manufacturer, and has been checked for damage, arriving in the original box. So glad to have these great pieces back! ~ Jules

Secrets:
In keeping with the theme of "Rule Britannia," the 2002 annual in-store event is a tea party. Three dogs enjoy tea and finger sandwiches on the event piece by Monique Baldwin. A collection of teapots is stashed under the chair, each one with a different design. The initials "HOL," "QE" and "PD," which stand for three Harmony Kingdom dealer levels, are hidden in various places on the box. On the interior are three cupcakes. Earl Cadogan was the first Englishman to own a curiosity piece from China known as a “wine pourer.” Since the vessel was packed in tea to prevent breakage on the long voyage from the Orient, the British assumed that it was to be used to brew tea. Thus, the European concept of the teapot was born. Today, a Cadogan teapot refers to a type of lidless teapot. The water is poured in through a hole in the bottom, and then the pot is quickly turned right side up. An interior funnel prevents the water from leaking out through the hole.
