How it Started ...

Once upon a time ....

That's how all good stories start, right?  I know I'm biased, but I like to think this is a pretty good story.  24 years ago this week, I made a radical and crazy decision.  A decision very unusual for most 17 year olds.

But I was not most 17 year olds...  ;)  

Born in Berkeley Springs, WV, I spent my childhood performing and touring the world with my Mother's theater company.  I saw some amazing things, and performed in some amazing places, but I loved my hometown.  When I made the decision to buy my store, I had no idea that 24 years later I would be the longest running gift shop in town.  That I would have shipped items to every state and all over the world.  That I would now manufacture 3 different successful product lines.  And most importantly, that I would have met so many amazing people through the course of 24 years in business.  You guys know who you are.  :)

The last 18 months have been the strangest of any of the years I've been in business, but I keep evolving, and you guys keep supporting me, and I just can't thank you all enough.  I wouldn't be here without each and every one of you.

Thank you for 24 years of laughter and tears and good times and strange times and really really weird times, but most of all, lots and lots of really good shopping.

Meanwhile, please continue to be safe.  Take care of yourself and of each other, and big virtual hugs all around.  ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
