Happy Thanksgiving!

Posted by Jules Happy Rone in Black Friday, Shop Small, Small Business Saturday, Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!

Twas the night of Thanksgiving,
and all through the house,
not a creature was stirring,
we were stuffed full of grouse.
(Ok, we had turkey, and you probably did too,
but that doesn't rhyme, so work with me here people,
it's called artistic license!)

As I was saying ...
I looked at my mom, and we lifted our feet,
stuffed clear to the top with good things to eat.
When what did our wondrous ears hear time after time?
The e-mail coming into my phone, going
chime chime chime chime!

Was it family?  Was it friends?
Wishing us great Holiday cheer?
Nope.  It was the big box stores shouting "Black Friday is here!!!"
We looked at the calendar,
checked twice the date,
it was still Thursday, guess they just couldn't wait.
"Don't sit at home, don't stay in your beds,
come join the lines with a couple hundred friends instead!"

Mom looked at me and asked, "don't they know?
You don't have to go out in the cold, rain or snow!
You don't have to get dressed, you don't have to wear shoes,
you don't have to waste gas, you can set the alarm clock to snooze!
You can relax in your houses, eating leftover grouses,
you can save hassle, stress and time,
and just shop Jules online!"

And so at the risk of being one of the crowd,
and interrupting your spending time with family around,
I suggest that you stay home, relax where it's cozy
...and if you need gifts, (not trying to be nosy,)

This is the time we give Thanks, for you being our friends,
and give you
free shipping on everything, until Monday ends.

Happy Thanksgiving from our House to Yours,
now back to our snoozing ... please forgive any snores.

:)  Jules

Small Business Saturday is almost here!

Posted by Jules Happy Rone in Black Friday, Shop Small, Small Business Saturday, Thanksgiving

It's a little hard to believe that Small Business Saturday is just over a week away.  It feels like just yesterday it was Spring and now we're getting ready for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and then it's just a hop skip and a jump to Christmas, Hanukkah, New Years and 2016!  But, those holidays aren't here QUITE yet, so everybody take a deep breath with me.  *breathe in, breathe out, rinse, repeat*  (Feel free to keep doing that as needed.)  I was speaking to a vendor yesterday and wished him a Happy Holiday.  He corrected me to "Merry Christmas" and while I just let it go at the time, I wanted to explain that I wasn't trying to be politically correct, I was actually referring to the holiday we have coming up in a week!  Don't rush it!  ;)

I know it can get hectic with the holidays, trying to make sure we do everything, go everywhere, make ALL the food (eat ALL the food) and keep up with getting and giving gifts to everyone on the list.  We'd love to try to help with at least part of that - and in this case it's not with helping eat the food!  We have a lot of wonderful customers who come to us for their collections of Harmony Kingdom, Pot Bellys, Faeries, etc, but don't forget, we also have a huge selection of goodies that make perfect gifts.  Gifts for $15 or less include: Aluminum Armor Wallets, Our Name is Mud Mugs, Charles Viancin lids and bottle stoppers, Poo-Pourri, Books, Crystals, Art Prints and More!  Take a look at the assortment of Gifts under $15

And, if you need help or are stumped for ideas, that's what we're here for, drop us an e-mail or give us a call, our Certified Retail Therapists are standing by ready to help!

Happy Holidays ya'll - and by that, I mean Thanksgiving first, then Hanukkah, then Christmas, then New Years, or, whichever Holiday makes you Happy, I hope you have a great one!

:)
